Catalog backup fails with status code 50 (client process aborted).

Troubleshooting:

Check the client bpbkar and bpcd binaries on the master. These are located in the /usr/openv/netbackup/bin directory.

Compare these against the binaries in the /usr/openv/netbackup/client//.

Suggest a size and sum / sum -r of  the binaries to see if they are the same.

If either is different, copy the binary from the /usr/openv/netbackup/client// to the /usr/openv/netbackup/bin directory.

For example, in one case a Solaris 8 master /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bpbkar binary had been changed to /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bpbkar.gz.  

The resolution was to copy the /usr/openv/netbackup/client/Solaris/Solaris8/bpbkar binary to  /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bpbkar.
